Fly Fishing Guide
Interface Design | July 2003
Fly-fishing is an outdoor activity with a prohibitive learning curve. I started this beginners guide to lessen the burden. The guide focuses on key factors that help beginners as well as intermediate fly-fisherman find the right fly at the right time. Along the way I provide quotes and tips from biologists and entomology experts that provide insight for hooking the big one.
The project required in depth research of aquatic insects, their behaviors, and their corresponding fly imitations. Matching that data to stream habitats and trout feeding patterns helps the beginner develop the knowledge necessary to get hooked on fly-fishing.
