Black Felt Gaming was the first fully US legal online Poker Network. Designed to host branded tournaments for non-profit and private events. Black Felt poker uses the latest web technologies to serve the online gaming environment without users needing to download and install software.
Black Felt’s founder, Doug Mealing hired me to illustrate a cast of player avatars, a poker room, and the associated interface to manage tournament play and table play. The goal from the onset was to design the player avatars with modular appendages so they could be animated and shuffled into new unique configurations.
